Indians Jose Ramirez Loses Out on the 2018 MLB Heart and Hustle Award

Indians 3B Jose Ramriez is known for his hustle on the playing field as well as his heart, but that wasn’t enough for him to win Major League Baseball’s annual ‘Heart and Hustle’ award.

Thursday night the winner of the award was announced, and the award went to Boston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts.

Betts, who also is very much in the running for AL MVP, had a monster season for the World Series champs, hitting .346 with 32 homers and 80 runs batted in.

Ramirez this past season hit .270, with a career-high 39 homers and 105 runs batted in.
