Indians – Francona Gives Brief Pitching Update, Salazar and Kluber Swap Spots

Danny Salazar was put on the DL back on June 6 for the Cleveland Indians in a 12-5 loss to Kansas City after pitching just 1 and 2/3 innings and now it is time for him to return to the rotation. However, there are only so many spots available in the starting rotation.

Recently, Corey Kluber has been battling a neck issue according to Tribe Manager, Terry Francona and could be pushed back in the lineup after the day off. This is still to be determined.

The current starting lineup is as follows for the Indians:  Corey Kluber, Carlos Carrasco, Trevor Bauer, Mike Clevinger and Josh Tomlin. Let’s see how things develop after Tuesday’s game in San Francisco.

The Indians were victorious in Monday night’s contest on the west coast, 5-3 against the Giants.  First pitch is at 10:05 from AT&T Park. Stay tuned to @neosportsinside for updates and developing news.
