Indians Activate Austin Jackson From DL To Join Roster

CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster move relative to the 2017 Major League roster:

Activated OF AUSTIN JACKSON from the 10-day Disabled List.

Jackson was placed on the disabled list on May 2 after injuring his left great (big) toe running thebases the night before in Detroit.  So far this season with Cleveland he is batting .273 (9/33) with 4 doubles, 1 home run and 2 RBI in 12 games.

He appeared in 3 rehabilitation games with the Columbus Clippers (4-for-10, 2B, HR) beginning on May 19.
