HS Soccer: North Royalton vs Hudson Recap

Hudson High School traveled to North Royalton High School on Tuesday Night for some fast paced soccer action.  If the first match of the night it was the JV squad of Hudson besting the home town Bears 3-1.

The Bears got off to a good start as Max Bunsey scored early in the game. Unfortunately from that point on, the Explorers controlled the ball and scored 2 goals to take a 2 to 1 Halftime lead.

The Explorers added another goal in the second half to defeat the Bears 3 to 1. The Boys JVA Soccer Team record is now at 5 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie.

They now travel to take on Berea-Midpark High School on Saturday, September 16th at 10:00 AM.

The varsity would then take the pitch in the night’s big showdown at Serpentini Stadium. Both teams battled all game long. With the lights on bright, the action would be tightly contested all night long!

The Explorers struck first in the first half to take a 1 to 0 lead and in to Halftime.

In the second half, the Bears kept fighting and finally broke through as Jimmy Giles found the loose ball from a Jonah Eisaman throw in and scored with 10 minutes left to tie the game at 1 to 1.

The final minutes of the game was furious as both teams had several opportunities. The Bears keep the unbeaten streak alive with another tie and a final score of 1 to 1.

The North Royalton Boys Varsity Team Record is now at 5 wins, 0 losses and 3 ties. They are now 0-0-3 in the Suburban Conference.

They next play as they travel to Berea-Midpark High School on Saturday, September 16th at Noon.
