HS Girls Basketball: Medina picks up big GCC win over Euclid Panthers, 76-64

The Medina Bees stayed undefeated by defeating the Euclid Panthers 76-64 in a GCC match up on Saturday. Medina is now 5-0 on the season, marking the best start since 2012.

Two players led the way with career-highs: Lindsey Linard (17 points, 9-10 FT’s, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks) and Rowan McDonald (12 points).

Madison Luthy was outstanding throughout and tallied 11 pts/8 rbs while Aly Dwyer (3 rbs, 3 asts) & Elizabeth Stuart added 8 pts apiece.

Also making big contributions were Katie Neate (4 pts, 4 asts, key defensive plays), Sarah McKee (6 pts, 8 rbs) and Hailey Seguin (crucial minutes in the 2nd quarter).

The Bees connected on 16-of-20 free throws in the 4th to close out the game.

Medina travels to Elyria on Dec. 12.
