HS Football Preview: Brunswick’s Blue Devils Look To Improve From Last Season In A Tough Greater Cleveland Conference

The 2018 edition of the Brunswick Blue Devils are led by second year head coach Mark Pinzone who went 5-5 last season including 3-4 in the always rough Greater Cleveland Conference.

The team will also be led by their 2018 captains: senior QB Josh Stacho, who missed most of the 2017 season due to an injury, senior RB/DB Dakota Lavinder, senior TE/LB  Curtis Helman, senior lineman Konnor States, and senior WR/DB Bobby Lindsey.

The Blue Devils will have the advantage of playing six of their ten games in front of a usually full home crowd in the friendly confines of Brunswick Automart Stadium where they went 4-1 at in the 2017 season. Together, the team hopes to be more competitive against the bigger teams in the conference (Euclid and Mentor), and hopes to lead the Blue Devils back to playoff contention for the first time since 2014.
