The Demons went on the attack from the opening whistle, scoring twice in the first half and once in the second half in defeating the OF Bulldogs 3-1. Getting on board @ the 30:30 mark of the first half it was Sr. Captain Logan Rummel to Matt Toner crashing the box and driving it past the goalie.
With 2 minutes left in the first half Logan Rummel was fouled outside the box setting up a free kick put into play by Patrick Hartup and after bouncing around Robert Fulop put his big toe on it sending it rolling across the goal line. Starting off the second half OF got on the board with a questionable call on a ball corralled by goalie Levi Swisher, that the AR with the sun in his eyes said crossed the line.
The Demons got back on the board with some sweet moves by Andrew Iannello beating his man and then the goalie. After Iannello’s score the match became a little heated as Dillon Krueger was on the receiving end of an American Football tackle by the OF goalie who received a red card and ejection from the game.
Led by Sr. Anthony Fusco the Demon defense of Vincent Napoli, Aiden Sharak, Sam Falcone thwarted the OF attack allowing only 4 shots on goal. Making it an all team effort David Essig, Dominik Tromler Samer Salem, Andrew Alvarez and Basheer Alramahi all contributed to the first win of the season.
