HS Boys Hoops: Copley Indians Move to 10-2 with Non-Conference 64-61 Win Over Wooster

The Copley Indians continued their solid 2018-19 season on Tuesday night, as they improved to 10-2 on the year with a 64-61 win over the Wooster Generals.

The win for the Indians was also their sixth straight, as they haven’t lost a game since December 21st against Tallmadge.

DJ Jones and VannAubrey Thomas both led all scorers with 23 points each.

Samuel Emich added 16 points and AJ Campbell rounded out the scoring for the Indians with 4 points.

Wooster, who falls to 4-6 on the year, were led by Lonnie Harper with 19 points and Reece Mitchell with 11.

Copley will be back in action this Saturday night, when they take on Hoover High School at the Mercy Medical Classic.

Wooster will play at Lexington on Tuesday, January 22nd with a varsity tip at 7:30pm.
