Lakewood had fight in them though never giving up and causing turnovers to keep the North Olmsted Eagles on their toes for the whole game. QB Austin Mahar and Quintin Palmer connect below to bring the score to within two scores 28-14.

With 1:35 remaining in the game Lakewood drives the length of the field to pull within one point. Attempting a two point conversion with just :14 seconds remaining on the clock, Lakewood quarterback, Austin Mahar stepped into the pocket and threw a bullet that fell incomplete into the end zone giving possession of the ball back to North Olmsted that capitalized on the short time as they ran the clock out to finish the game 28-27 over the Lakewood Rangers at the new North Ridgeville football stadium.
