Hill, Young Lead Jackson Past Medina to Regional Final

Massillon Jackson’s imposing frontcourt duo of Logan Hill and Kyle Young seemingly has gotten better with every game.

Thursday night at the University of Akron was no exception, as Hill scored a game-high 21 points, while Young scored 20 and grabbed nine rebounds.

The Polar Bears defeated Medina, 80-59, also receiving 15 points from Kyle Nicholas and a double-double from point guard Jared Pallotta, who dished out ten assists with 12 points.

Luke Schaeffer led Medina with 16 points.

Jackson will face Toledo St. John’s Jesuit on Saturday, March 18 at 7 pm at the University of Akron. The winner punches a ticket to the Final Four in Columbus.
