Girls HS Hoops: Orange Lady Lions Dominate Painesville Harvey Heritage School 67-25

After a tough loss on Thursday against Bishop Watterson 63-42, the Orange Lady Lions rebounded well on Saturday, topping Painesville Harvey Heritage School 67-25.

The lady Lions put forth a solid all around team effort, as the team improved to 6-1 on the season.

Orange’s defense was a key all afternoon, holding Harvey to just eight points in the first quarter, and 10 points in the entire first half.

Mahogany Sanford had a big day for the lady Lions, leading all scorers with 22 points.

Casey Smith and Kaydan Lawson both had 13 points, while Marissa Munsell has nine points shooting 3-5 from three-point range.

The lady Lions will be back on the court on Wednesday as they will travel to Perry for a 7:30pm tip.
