Four Takeaways From Cavs’ Game 4 Win over Celtics

3. Kevin Love Feasts

Boston seemed to make a concerted effort to keep Tristan Thompson off the boards in Game 4, which led to Love grabbing a game-high 17 rebounds to go with 17 points.

Love is averaging 24.5 points per game in the Eastern Conference Finals and it’s been arguably his best four-game stretch of any point of his Cavaliers career.

The Big Three combined for 92 of Cleveland’s 112 points on the night, but Tyronn Lue was not upset with the bench, crediting the threat Kyle Korver poses for opening up room for the rest of his guys to do damage.

Love also passed for five assists on the night (he should have had another, via his trademark full court touchdown outlet pass) and blocked two shots.
