Former Browns Lineman Bob Gain Passes Away at 87

The Browns today announced the passing of former lineman Bob Gain, a player who was on three Browns NFL Championship teams.

Gain passed away Monday night at the age of 87. He played for 13 seasons for the Browns, and was a part of title clubs in 1954, 55 and 64.

He was a two-way standout on both the offensive and defensive lines. Gain appeared in five Pro Bowls during his tenure in the NFL, and also was a second-team All Pro selection seven times.

Gain was inducted into the Cleveland Browns Legends Program in 2003.
