A tough game in which the Demons showed some grit on the defensive side led by goalie Jr. Levi Swisher and defender Sr. Capt. Anthony Fusco keeping the Strongsville attack in check for most of the game.
The offense was sparked by midfielder Sr. Capt. Logan Rummel, whose breakaway in the first half knotted up the score 1 to 1, as a result of pressure applied by Sr. Robert Fulop.
Right out of the gate in the second half the Mustang’s put a well-placed header past the outstretched arms of Swisher, from there the game was a struggle and neither team could put a finish on any of their offensive runs.
Next up the Demons travel to SWC foe Avon game time 7:00 p.m.
