David Blatt Releases Statement Following His Firing by the Cavs

David Blatt was fired Friday as head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers less than midway into his second season with the franchise. Despite sitting at 30-11, the early word is that it was just too much on Blatt and he couldn’t handle a team that is expected to challenge for a NBA Title, despite being two wins away from one last season.

Here’s a statement from Blatt put out by management firm Priority Sports.
