Crew Cap: Crew Fall to Red Bulls, 3-2

As the regular season comes to an end for MLS, the Crew SC look to play Debbie-Downer to the The New York Red Bulls who have alresdy clinched the top spot in the East

The first half of action would end scoreless.  

As for the second half, the Bulls would start things off in the 53’ with a goal from Mike Grella.  And not 5 minutes later, NY would strike again with two goals from Bradley Wright-Phillips.  Honorable mention to the NY’s Sacha Kljestan for recording two assists.

Then by the 73’, Columbus would answer back with two goals of their own from Adam Jahn and then from Harrison Afful in the 83’.  Parkhurst, Meram, and Finlay would all record assists for the Black and Gold.  The final score of the match would end New York 3, Columbus 2.  

There is only one more game to play for the Crew SC in the regular season, and it is on the road against New York City FC on Sunday, October 23 for a 4 PM ET kick off.  The game will be held at Yankee Stadium.
