Cleveland State Men’s Hoops Travel Today to Take on UIC

GAME PREVIEW:
• CSU begins the second round of Horizon League play with a 4:00 pm ET contest at UIC on Saturday (Jan. 30). 
• The game will be broadcast on AM 1220-WHKW and AM 1380-WDLW with Al Pawlowski providing the play-by-play. 
• Saturday’s game will also be available on the HLN. 
• The Vikings are 7-15 overall and 2-7 in the League after a 77-52 setback at League-leading Valparaiso on Thursday night. 
• UIC is 2-18 overall and 0-9 in the League.  
• The Flames are coming off an 82-78 setback at home to Youngstown State on Thursday.

THE UIC SERIES: 
• CSU leads the all-time series with UIC, 46-33, which dates back to the 1981-82 season.  
• The Vikings have won 18 of the last 20 meetings since the start of the 2007-08 season.  
• CSU won the first meeting this year, 70-53, in the Wolstein Center on Jan. 18. 
• The Vikings are 21-17 all-time in Chicago.

UP NEXT: 
• CSU returns home to host Detroit on Thursday (Feb. 4) at 7:30 pm in the Wolstein Center. It will be a doubleheader with the CSU women hosting Detroit at 5:30 pm.
