Cleveland Indians Roster Moves

As Spring Training is coming to a close the Cleveland Indians will be making more roster moves in the upcoming week looking to cut down their 37 man roster down to a 25 man roster as the regular season is approaching.

On Sunday, the Indians made a few roster moves.

The Indians optioned RHP Mike Clevinger and RHP Joe Colón to AAA Columbus Clippers.

The team reassigned C Adam Moore, INF Richie Shaffer and OF Bradley Zimmer to Minor League Camp.

LHP Tyler Olson, C Erik Kratz, 1B Chris Colabello, and OF Daniel Robertson will be remaining in the Indians camp but have been informed that they will not make the Opening Day roster.

OF Austin Jackson has been informed that he will start the season on the Major League roster, barring any injury.
