Cleveland SC, the Cinderella story that soccer fans cannot get enough of, kept their dream season alive tonight with a huge 4-0 first round playoff win on the road over the Erie Commodores. They had split the regular season series with Erie, but when all the marbles were on the line and it was win or go home, Cleveland SC put up a great fight and won big!
Winning 4-0 in soccer, is much the same as winning 10-0 in baseball. Just an absolute blowout for the boys in orange and black from start to finish. They now advance to the second round of the playoffs Friday night against AFC Ann Arbor. Location and time of that game will be coming soon.
Vinny Bell got the scoring going only 9 minutes into the contest. Bell, had another hat trick tonight, his third of the season!

The game remained 1-0 for the rest of the first half. Vinny Bell got SC back on the scoreboard early into the second half however after receiving a perfect pass from Antonio Manfut.

With Erie on the ropes, Manfut and Cleveland SC ended all doubt when Antonio found the back of the net again in the 63rd minute of the match.
