Ice Cube Says Chauncey Billups Leaving Big 3 League to Take Job With Cavs

Who would have thought we’d see the day when rapper Ice Cube would be breaking NBA news?

That’s precisely what happened Wednesday, when the founder of the Big 3 League told TMZ Chauncey Billups is leaving his role as player-coach of “The Killer 3’s” to join the Cavs organization.

“It was Killer 3’s for a minute, but since Chauncey took that job, it might change.” Ice Cube said when asked which team would be the favorite in his league of former-NBA players.

“We love it. That’s what it’s all about. We think guys are going to get back in the league with the Big 3. We encourage guys to continue their NBA careers.”

Billups met with Cavs owner Dan Gilbert for the second time Wednesday and no official word has come announcing a hiring.
