Cavs Owner Dan Gilbert: “I Will Never Move The Cavaliers Out of Cleveland”

Cavalier fans who have been sweating since the moment that it was announced the renovations to Quicken Loans Arena have been scrapped meaning there was a chance that owner Dan Gilbert would move the team should feel better today.

At least if you believe a tweet sent out a earlier today by Cavs owner Dan Gilbert.

Gilbert wasn’t shy about discussing the rumors of him and the team leaving Cleveland head on, stating that he would ‘never move’ the team away from Cleveland.

Now take it for what it’s worth, but it’s not the first time an owner has stated he would not move and then did so (see Art Modell), but there’s no denying that Gilbert is not taking the bull by the horns by telling folks that (for now) he’s not looking to move the Cavs anywhere.

It was the first tweet Gilbert had sent out from his account since the announcement of the new Cavs uniforms on August 7th.
