LeBron Takes Home Three ESPY Awards; Cavs Win Best Team and Best Moment

The Cleveland Cavaliers collected some more hardware on Wednesday night to go with their Larry O’Brien Trophy, as LeBron James won three individual ESPY Awards and the Wine and Gold were winners of two ESPY’s in the annual awards show in Los Angeles.

The first award the Cavs won was for “Moment of the Year,” ending Cleveland’s championship drought.

Later on in the show, the Cavs were named “Team of the Year.”

Game 7 of the NBA Finals between the Cavs and Warriors was named “Best Game.”

LeBron James was named “Male Athlete of the Year” as well as “Best NBA Player” and “Best Championship Performance.”

Head coach Tyronn Lue was named “Best Coach.”

The accolades continue for Cleveland and it will only get better between now and the ring ceremony when the 2016-2017 season begins.
