Cavaliers get fifth straight win after dismantling Detroit, 116-88; three takeaways

DETROIT– Looking to keep their winning streak alive against a Detroit team that leads the Central Division, the Cavaliers did just about everything right on Monday night in their 116-88 win over the Pistons.

Overall, Cleveland followed their game plan on both ends of the floor. They did a great job of getting into passing lanes on defense and establishing a balanced scoring attack early on, which led to their most lopsided win this season.

Out of the 1o Wine and Gold wins this year, tonight was just the second that came by more than 10 points.

Next up, the Cavs will take on the Brooklyn Nets at home on Wednesday night. But for now, here are our three takeaways from the win against Detroit.
