Cam Atkinson Scores OT Game-Winner; Blue Jackets Top Senators 7-6

It was a wild day North of the Border, as the Columbus Blue Jackets rallied back from a 5-3 deficit, scoring three goals in the third period to force overtime against the Ottawa Senators.

Cam Atkinson turned out to be the hero of the day, scoring his second goal of the game in overtime, which was his 23rd of the season.

Atkinson is third in the NHL in goals.

Nick Foligno, Scott Harrington, Zach Werenski, Lukas Sedlak, and Matt Calvert also scored goals for Columbus in the win.

The Blue Jackets improve to 32-10-4, tied for first in the Metropolitan Division with the Washington Capitals. The two teams are also tied for the most points in the NHL.

The Blue Jackets head to Brooklyn to face the New York Islanders on Tuesday night.
