Browns WR Jarvis Landry Sends a Simple Message to FA WR Dez Bryant “Ride With Me”

It appears that at least one Cleveland Browns player is still campaigning for the team to sign free agent receiver Dez Bryant.

After last night’s premiere of HBO’s Hard Knocks, Browns pass catcher Jarvis Landry has gained a lot of attention for his spirited speech. He apparently has gained a fan as well. The former Cowboys receiver had this to say on Twitter after watching Landry lay into the Browns receivers.

“Yea Juice!!!!..gave me chills man!!! I love this @God_Son80”

The tweet caught Landry’s attention and he had a very simple response tonight.

This isn’t the first time Landry has brought up Bryant, just a few weeks earlier ESPN NFL Twitter account posed this question,

“Would Dez make the Browns better?” Landry’s response,

“Absolutely @Dez Bryant”

The Browns have been confirmed to have interest in Bryant but nothing has come to fruition. After rumors had swirled that the Browns had a visit scheduled with him, a report surfaced earlier this week from ESPN claiming that Bryant didn’t have any serious interest in the Browns but maybe Hard Knocks has made him reconsider. Landry has the same fire and passion that Bryant has and he may want to play with someone that shares those same characteristics.

Cleveland is still in need of another pass catcher at the receiver position after trading away the underperforming Corey Coleman. They’re also still without their number one receiver Josh Gordon who is still undergoing his health and wellness plan in Gainesville, Florida.

A receiving unit of Gordon, Landry and Bryant would definitely keep defensive coordinators up at night and possibly would make them the best receiving unit in the NFL.
