Browns To Ink TE Darren Fells To Three-Year Deal Worth $12 Million

The Browns quick moves on Wednesday not only saw them reportedly come to a deal with running back Carlos Hyde, but also they are signing blocking tight end Darren Fells to a three-year deal worth $12 million, half of which is guaranteed.

Fells is 31 years old, and is known more for his blocking than anything else. He is 6-7, 280 pounds. Last season with the Detroit Lions he pulled in 17 passes for 177 yards and three scores.

He spent three seasons before that with the Arizona Cardinals, his best pass catching season was 2015 when he caught 21 passes for 311 yards.
