Browns Name Kizer The Top Dawg Over Osweiler

CLEVELAND – Rookie QB DeShone Kizer has earned the starting spot over Brock Osweiler after the 13-9 Victory over Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday.

Announcing the move in the wake of this victory, Browns head coach Hue Jackson said, “He has the right feel for me and is what I’m looking for.”

“He’s doing everything I’m asking him to do,” Jackson said. “He’s doing everything that he needs to do to prepare himself for this opportunity. He did some good things and made a jump. I’m comfortable with him. We’ll keep coaching him up.”

The Browns square off with the Chicago Bears on Thursday, August 31, at 8:00 PM in Chicago’s Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois as the NFL Preseason continues.
