Browns Ink DL Kelcy Quarles To the Practice Squad

BEREA, Ohio – The Browns today announced they have inked DL Kelcy Quarles to the practice squad.

Quarles is 6-4, 310 and in his second NFL season out of South Carolina. Originally signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2014, Quarles spent 10 weeks on the Colts’ active roster and appeared in two games.

He spent the final six weeks of the 2014 season on the Colts’ practice squad and was waived by the Colts on Sept. 5, 2015. A native of Hodges, S.C., he graduated from Greenwood (S.C.) High School and later attended Fork Union (Va.) Military Academy.
