Browns Complete Season Sweep of Bengals 26-18: 5 Takeaways

2) Sacks on Sacks on Sacks

The Browns pass rush was a problem all day for Cincinnati. Their feeble offensive line had no answer for the onslaught of Browns pass rushers. Myles Garrett had a quiet day on the stat sheet but was disruptive nonetheless and the luxury of Garrett is that he draws so much attention that it allows his teammates to make plays around him.

That’s essentially what happened today. Joe Schobert, Genard Avery and Larry Ogundjobi all came away with a sack each. In total, the Browns registered  five QB hits on Bengals starter Jeff Driskel.

To Driskel’s credit, the one thing he’s excelled at is escaping pressure. So there were a few occasions where he magically avoided a sack and kept some plays and drives alive for Cincy. Outside of those few instances though it was a long day for him and the Bengals offense.
