Dorsey went with a lot of character concern guys in the draft which is kind of head scratching figuring you want to change the culture on the team. Obviously Baker had some questions with his antics and his arrest. Callaway has his boatload of problems. Now Thomas as well. He is already 25 years old and played just one full season because of academic problems. He was also one of several football players charged in an on-campus theft. Most scouts didn’t even have him close to being drafted either so now with age and character questions this pick was bad. Sure he has size for a corner but I don’t think he has a home. Even if the Browns cut Jamar Taylor, they still have Travis Carrie, Denzel Ward, EJ Gaines, Brian Boddy-Calhoun, Terrance Mitchell, and Howard Wilson at corner. They won’t keep seven corners so he will have to beat out Wilson if he even wants a shot at the roster. This seems to be a wasted pick to me.
