NEOSI’s Cleveland Browns 2018 NFL Draft Grades

35.) Nick Chubb RB Georgia

Grade: B-

I didn’t think RB was the biggest need compared to other positions and Chubb was the one of the group I wasn’t the biggest fan of. Granted he stayed healthy after the big injury at Georgia, he just was never the same elite back and he is not a three-down back. I worry about his knee and the workload long term but he is a big strong back and tested well. That is why I will bump up the grade a little because he compliments the backs here better than what was available. With Hyde and Johnson being able to handle third-down duties Chubb will see time as a battering ram inside and in short down situations. I just wish he had a little more value as a more complete back.
