Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com recently revealed on the Wrestling Classics forum that Daniel Bryan “did give notice [to WWE] and was told he did not have the right to give notice.”
Bryan’s contract has been frozen due to injury, a stipulation that helps the WWE hold on to its Superstars longer in case of missed time.
The only way Bryan can be released from the WWE at this point is if he takes them to court.
