GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OHIO – The Lady Bulldogs of Garfield Heights used a 60-42 rebounding advantage to turn back Columbia 48-33 on Wednesday night.

A good portion of those rebounds were gathered by junior forward Maryam Hargrove as she dominated the low post with 18 points.

Freshman guard Jade Salters kept things moving outside with 13 points, and junior forward Makayla Warren was tough on defense while scoring 10 points on the offensive end.

Columbia saw their record drop below .500 (5-6) for the first time this season. The Lady Raiders are struggling while senior captain Danielle Matzelle is temporarily sidelined for medical reasons.

Junior point guard Serena Goode led Columbia with eight points on Wednesday.
