Bieber Stops the Yankees as Indians Early Offense Enough in 6-5 Win; Three Takeaways

CLEVELAND – When it comes to beating the Yankees, it doesn’t matter how it gets done, all that matters is getting the ‘W.’

The Tribe did just that on Friday night, thanks in part to another solid outing by rookie Shane Bieber, who responded after two not so great outings for a very good performance, allowing three runs in seven innings.

The offense got off to another solid start, and built a 4-0 lead after two innings before the Yankees finally got some runs on the board.

The win puts the team at 51-42 on the season, and they now have shot on Saturday to get a make sure they get no less than a split in the four-game set when they go again against New York at 7:10pm.

Here’s three takeaways from a much needed win for the Tribe and a satisfying one over New York.
