Berea-Midpark Drops 3-2 Heartbreaker to Brecksville-Broadview Heights in OHSAA Second Round

The Berea-Midpark girls soccer team saw its 2017 season come to a close in a heartbreaking 3-2 loss to Brecksville-Broadview Heights Thursday night.

A goal from the Bees midway through the second half flew over Berea-Midpark goalkeeper Bridget Satow and just under the crossbar to send the Bees to the Parma District Semifinals.

The Titans struck early, securing goals from Jayley Dodd and Molly Stackhouse in the 14th and 15th minutes of the game.

They held the 2-1 advantage heading into halftime, but the Bees offensive pressure to open up the second half proved to be too much for Berea-Midpark.

With the loss, the Titans conclude the 2017 season with a 6-6-3 record.
