Opening Segment:
Stephanie McMahon starts out the show. Steph announces that Triple H will not be there. Roman Reigns comes out and gets strong boos from the Philadelphia crowd. Reigns says that he is walking into Stephanie’s stadium and walking out with his WWE World Heavyweight Title. Reigns also says that there is nothing Steph or her daddy can do about it. To close the segment, Reigns tells Stephanie that now, he is the Authority.
AJ Styles vs Kevin Owens
Both competitors have fantastic chemistry. It makes sense why at house shows they are having 60 minute iron man matches. Kevin Owens busts out a Frog Splash. I\Styles and Owens were busting out moves I haven’t seen in a long time. Chris Jericho comes out to distract AJ Styles.
WINNER: Kevin Owens via roll-up
In the future, this match needs to be done. No distractions, no time limit.
Post Match: Kevin Owens discusses who his “KOMania” opponent will be. Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, and Sami Zayn all interrupt. Owens says that he will talk to the Authority and make a triple threat match , and the winner gets Kevin Owens at “KOMania” for his Intercontinental Championship.
Terry Funk tells Dean Ambrose that if he ever had a son or daughter he wants them to be like Dean Ambrose. Terry Funk gives Ambrose a chainsaw because he is the best in the country. As Funk walks out of the picture, Ambrose says there is no way this thing works, then proceeds to cut up a table.
League of Nations and New Day segment:
League of Nations starts talking about their match at WrestleMania against New Day, and begin chanting New Day sucks. New Day comes out and says that the League of Nations are trash.
Big E vs Rusev
Seems like Xavier Woods has learned some new things on his trombone. The rest of the League of Nations and New Day take each other out at ring side. Sheamus went for the distraction but is speared to the outside by Big E, on the other side Kofi Kingston hit Trouble in Paradise on Rusev.
WINNER: Big E via Big Ending
Chris Jericho vs Fandango
Fandango…he’s still around? He doesn’t even get a televised entrance. AJ Styles distracts Jericho during his match but Jericho still wins.
WINNER: Chris Jericho via Codebreaker
AJ Styles says that he has competed all over the world but there is one place that he hasn’t competed and that is WrestleMania. Styles challenges Jericho to a match at WrestleMania.
Stardust vs Sin Cara vs Zack Ryder
Seeing Zack Ryder is a great time, it sucks what happened to him. Sami Zayn. Dolph Ziggler, and The Miz come out to discuss with Kevin Owens why they aren’t in this triple threat to face Owens at WrestleMania.
WINNER: No Contest
A triple threat ended in disqualification…weird.
Stephanie McMahon announces that at WrestleMania there will be a 7 man ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship that will have Stardust, Sin Cara, Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens Pretty close to what I predicted back a few weeks ago. Zack Ryder is on the WrestleMania card!
Triple H comes to pick up Stephanie McMahon but gets attacked by Roman Reigns shortly after.
Natalya vs Charlotte
We saw this not to long ago back at Roadblock. Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks are on commentary for this match. It’s finally mentioned on RAW that Sasha Banks is undefeated since making her debut on the main roster. Natalya can go really far in the divas division, but she got hurt during the Divas Revolution . Charlotte has improved as a heel.
WINNER: Charlotte via Natural Selection
Bubba Ray Dudley vs R-Truth
A lot of people I didn’t expect on RAW . R-Truth, Zack Ryder, and Fandango all in one night. Didn’t care about this match or pay much attention.
WINNER: Bubba Ray Dudley
Goldust comes out after the match attempting to save R-Truth but gets a 3-D. Usos come and superkick both of the Dudley Boyz. Usos attempt to put D-Von through a table but Bubba Ray eventually saves him.
Vince McMahon announcement for Shane McMahon vs Undertaker:
Vince says that he thinks Shane McMahon is the most formidable opponent throughout all the WrestleMania’s the Undertaker has competed in . Vince McMahon says that Undertaker is his bi**h. If Undertaker does not defeat Shane, it will be Undertaker’s last WrestleMania.
Dean Ambrose vs Braun Strowman
Paul Heyman is on commentary for the main event. Paul Heyman said it’s his job to worry , but Brock Lesnar fears nobody. Heyman says that he thinks that Lesnar is in for a fight at WrestleMania against Dean Ambrose. Philadelphia fans were chanting “this is boring” .
WINNER: Braun Strowman via disqualification
Ambrose starts unloading on Strowman with a steel chair. Dean hits Dirty Deeds onto the chair. This main event was nothing special, not a fan.
