Mat Insiders: If WrestleMania 32 Has an IC Ladder Match; Who Will Compete In It?

Last year at WrestleMania 31, WWE had a 7 man Ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship, that Daniel Bryan had won. This year at WrestleMania 32, many people are expecting the same thing to happen with Kevin Owens defending the title.

Although the WWE Universe would love to see Owens vs Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship, it doesn’t appear that will happen. We will be seeing that in the near future though, so do not worry. Let’s look into the superstars that can participate in this ladder match. Here are my predictions.

1.) Kevin Owens
Obviously if you are having a ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship, you need to have the champion. Owens will not lose the title between now and WrestleMania. Owens is a great fit for this ladder match even if he was not champion. Kevin is super agile and gives it his all every night. I can see Owens diving off the top of the ladder honestly. Another thing you can expect from KO in this match is a pop-up powerbomb onto a ladder.

2.) Neville
Neville will more than likely be in this match. Here is why, on the previous episode of RAW, Owens beat him by grabbing the tights and proceeded to attack him after the match. Neville is another superstar that will be a perfect fit for this ladder match. Neville already has a high flying advantage and you can expect a crazy amount of dives, flips, and of course high risk/ high flying moves. This match can possibly lead to Neville breaking out of the pack.

3.) Sami Zayn
The man that just debuted this past Monday. Zayn saved Neville from the Kevin Owens attack. Sami Zayn is a perfect fit for this match because in WWE alone, Owens and Zayn have had a ton of history through NXT and now WWE. I think the best thing for Zayn would be if he wins this match and continues to feud with Owens after Mania. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Zayn has all the characteristics to become the next Daniel Bryan.
