If Thomas is going to have one of his trademark takeover games, it would seem to make sense for that to happen in his home building. The Cavs held him to 17 points in Game 1 and most of those came after the outcome was decided.

Game 2 in front of his home crowd in what feels like a must-win situation for the Celtics to have any chance in this series presents a prime opportunity for IT to deliver on the big stage.

Unlike Irving, Thomas has had some explosive scoring nights in this postseason and although the Cavs defense has played well, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Thomas goes off in at least one of these games.
