Cleveland State Improves to 1-1 in Conference Play with Win over Milwaukee

The Vikings improve to 1-1 in conference play with a win against Milwaukee, 5-9 overall.

Leading CSU to victory would be the lone senior Demonte Flannigan’s 18 pts and 9 rebounds. Kasheem Thomas would record 13 pts on the night along with 12 from Bobby Word.

CSU also shot 54% from the field, and were able to pull out the win despite another poor showing from their bench offensively and committing more turnovers than the Panthers. CSU would go 9-11 from the line.

Rob Edwards would have rough night committing 6 turnovers, but was able to contribute 6 rebounds on the night.

Next up for the Vikings is a road-trip visiting Wright State on Thursday, Jan. 5th at 7:30 PM ET and Northern Kentucky on Saturday, Jan. 7th at 1:00 PM ET.
